One of the (couple) reasons I have been slacking on blogging is because Matt and I have been working on Ean’s room…so that we then can get another nursery ready for our little girl. We finished Ean’s room yesterday. I’m going to have to stop and brag on my husband. He did most of it, the painting, the gutter book shelves, repainting a $20 garage sale dresser find (it looks amazing). He is really quite the guy, I’m one proud wife. I’m lucky that he pretends to enjoy some of the DIY projects we do together.
Ean’s bedding is Target’s Circo Transportation Bedding we had purchased on clearance for Ean’s birthday. My mother in law sewed his curtains (Thanks Ruth!). Ean’s name above his bed is an idea I fell in love with from Pintrest. I recreated it using Illustrator and little Squinkie Cars.
I am so happy to say that Ean loves his new room. He was the first one to begin putting his stuff in it, once it was painted.
You are going to be pinterest famous!! This is so great. Love that crafty-Matthew is back on the scene, too. (:
Ha ha. You are funny. Oh crafty-Matthew is back in full swing. He is painting baby girls room as we speak! PS I MISS YOU.
How did you paint the road and the stripes, that kept it straight and with clean lines? Thanks!
We used a chalkline and painters tape. My husband worked for a friend who was a professional painter out of college…so that helped too!
